Payal Ghosh is an Indian actor and model. She has primarily worked in South Indian film and entertainment industry. She had made an entry into the Bollywood in 2017, but couldn’t gain any traction.

Payal was born and brought up in a upper middle class Bengali Brahmin family in Kolkata. She was a brilliant student and had done quite well in her graduation. When her professors were suggesting her to go for Civil Services, she had decided to dive into the uncertain world of acting.

Payal had started her career as an actor with a BBC Telefilm named Sharpe’s Peril. Her first film was Prayanam in Telugu which didn’t do well at the box office.

However, Rekha Sharma, the Chairperson of National Commission for Women has asked her to file a proper complaint against Anurag Kashyap.
